Hand stripping is a grooming technique where we remove the outer coat of your dog by hand, using a special stripping knife to gently pluck away the dead hair rather than clipping it short. It's the traditional method used for many wire-coated and double-coated breeds, and it leaves your dog's coat looking fuller, healthier, and with better colour definition than clipping alone.
